Piotr Murdzia and the Polish team won the 33rd WCSC in a convincing way both as individual and as a team. Congratulations to Murdzia for an spectacular performance and to the Polish team who has consistently produced new and strong talents over the last years!

Oct-13

Evseev won the World Open in a convincing performance followed by Selivanov and Pogorelov. Marcos Roland from Brazil had his best performance ever tying in 13th and 14th place and achieving a Solving Master norm. Full results can be found atv Open Solving Results!

Milan Velimirovic will be in charge of the Solving Show and Quick Solving. The Solving Show will be transmitted on the internet at MatPlus

Unfortunately Brian Stephenson won't be able to direct the WCSC and Open in Rio de Janeiro. Axel Steinbrink will be our solving director.
